Jim Shleiffarth, the founder of Vacom and inventor of the Concentrator and Crystallizer systems, is a thirty veteran of the industrial waste remediation business. From 1995-2005, Vacom LLC sold $60 million of its first generation technology, the Vacom Concentrator, to numerous global companies. In 2007, Jim founded a company utilizing an advanced
version of the Concentrator targeted at the oil and gas sector and subsequently built three plants valued at $160 million. In 2013 Jim created his next generation of technology, the Vacom Crystallizer, which remediates waste streams into only two by-products: purified water and solids.
