John has extensive leadership experience from serving as CEO for three companies nationally recognized for their innovation and fast growth. These include Greenline Industries, a biodiesel company with locations in 5 countries, Club One, a fitness club company he grew to over 100 locations and over 1,000 employees, and ClubSource a specialty
finance company. Most recently John was the Managing Director for Clean Energy at Imperial Capital, and also has experience with Bain and Company and Bessemer Venture Partners. John has served on public and private boards. His passion for improving our environment includes leadership positions with NatureBridge offering environmental science programs for kids, the Presidio Graduate School for MBA’s in Sustainable Management, and the Young President’s Organization’s Sustainability Council. John received a B.A. in Human Biology, an M.S. in Industrial Engineering, and MBA degrees from Stanford University.
