Dr. Kozarich is currently Chairman and President of ActivX, a biopharmaceutical company that discovers and develops highly selective, best in class, small molecules for major unmet medical needs.
Previously, Dr. Kozarich served as Vice President at Merck Research Laboratories, where he had primary responsibility for a number of collaborations
with companies, including Aurora Biosciences, Cubist and KaroBio.
He also held faculty positions at the University of Maryland and Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Kozarich also served as Vice President, R&D at Alkermes. He has over 125 primary scientific publications and holds several patents. Dr. Kozarich is internationally known for his work on enzyme mechanisms and received the Pfizer Award in Enzyme Chemistry from the American Chemical Society.
