He is the founder of Contagion, an interactive marketing and development firm. In 1998, John founded online media company, mysportsguru.com, which was voted Best of the Web by Forbes, Yahoo Internet Life, and USA Today.

became the authority on sports instruction and community and was later acquired by The Active Network. He is the co-founder of Greenfield Healthy Foods, makers of fat free snacks, which was acquired by Campbell Soup Company.
John is the co-founder of the Connecticut Challenge, a nonprofit organization that funds programs to improve the quality of lives of cancer survivors.
He received his BS degree in marketing from Pepperdine University.
