John West, the founder, chairman & CEO of Whistle Sports, is an entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience launching and building companies. In 1989, West started Enstrat, an environmental services company, which was sold seven years later. In 1996, West joined Mitchell Madison Group, a management consulting firm, and was subsequently
elected partner. In 1999, he founded and became chairman of Silver Oak Solutions, a financial software and advisory company that was acquired by CGI, a publicly traded IT outsourcing company, in 2005. In 2008, he formed Whistle to provide young sports fans with engaging content across social media platforms. West holds a BS in engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
