Jon Olson is senior vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) at Xilinx, with responsibility for finance, tax, treasury and investor relations as well as mergers and acquisitions. In addition, he is also responsible for IT. Olson joined the company in 2005, bringing more than 25 years of financial management expertise to his position.
Most recently, he served as vice president of Finance and Enterprise Services, Director of Finance at Intel Corp.
While at Intel, Olson held a variety of senior financial positions, including: vice president, finance and enterprise services; director of finance; technology and manufacturing group controller; semiconductor products group controller; and system manufacturing group controller. Before that, he worked for four years at General Signal Corp.
Olson holds an MBA in Finance from Santa Clara University and a B.S. in accounting from Indiana University.
