I founded texdel (formerly Nufabrx) in 2011 after a trip to the dermatologist where I learned that pillowcases are one of the leading causes of acne/blemishes, and we are supposed to wash our pillowcases every 2 to 3 days. For teens and college students, this is not going to happen! So off I went to find a solution.
After years of R&D,
fine tuning and teaming up with a brilliant PhD formulation scientist from Minneapolis, we developed four patent-pending “platform” technologies that enable the secure and controlled delivery of “Active” ingredients via yarn to the skin over an extended period of time, and through hundreds of laundering cycles. Textile yarns can now be enhanced to provide the wearer performance improving, healing, and aesthetic capabilities.
