Joseph is assistant professor of neurology at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. The major focus of his laboratory is to define mechanistic similarities between rare genetic lysosomal diseases and more common neurodegenerative disorders that are characterized by the accumulation of amyloid proteins, such as Parkinson's
and Alzheimer's diseases.
