Josh co-founded ACG because he and his partners saw a unique opportunity to help innovative consumer, retail and restaurant companies reach their full potential. An experienced investor and business builder, Josh currently serves on the boards of Suja Juice, Shake Shack, Babyganics and Kriser’s Pets. In 2013 Forbes recognized Josh as one of
America’s "25 Most Influential Kingmakers in Consumer and Retail."
Prior to co-founding ACG, Josh led The Lessing Companies, a consumer-focused private equity group. Earlier in his career, he worked for Lehman Brothers in the firm’s Executive Management, Merchant Banking, and Mergers & Acquisitions groups.
Josh holds an M.B.A. with distinction from the Harvard Business School, and a B.A. with honors from Wesleyan University. He also serves on the national Executive Committee of The Wesleyan Fund, and as a mentor for AccelFoods, an accelerator for food and beverage startups.
