For 15 years Kai served as the Executive Vice President & Head of Research for CIBA Vision’s Advanced Technology Division and is the inventor of over 100 vision care patents, many of which still contribute to approximately 1/3 of CIBA Vision’s annual revenue of over $1.6 billion.
Prior to founding QSpex Technologies, Inc. in 2007 he
was founder and President of Technology Resource International from 1995-2005.
Kai holds a Ph.D. in polymer chemistry from Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn and a BS in chemistry from Tamking University in Taiwan.
