Kapil has spent 17 years working in various facets of the financial markets. For the past seven years Kapil helped grow and exit two successful financial technology companies, Creditex (now a subsidiary of the Intercontinental Exchange) and Tradescape (now a subsidiary of E*Trade).
These firms' products spanned fixed income, equities, and
derivatives. Kapil's responsibilities included leading strategic transactions, financial structuring/analysis, and launching new technology focused business lines on a global basis.
Prior to his operational involvement in entrepreneurial technology companies, Kapil worked as a private equity investor at Advent International and as an investment banker in the New York and London offices of Salomon Brothers.
Kapil holds a dual BS/BA in Economics and Finance from Boston University where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and was a Brookline Scholar.
