Keith Demmings is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Assurant Solutions International business. In this role, Mr. Demmings is responsible for all business and products sold in Canada, the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe and Asia as well as various international support functions in Atlanta and Miami.
In his previous role as Senior
Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for International Business, he drove recognition of Assurant Solutions global presence and promoted top line growth and bottom line results while executing against key financial metrics and strategic priorities.
Mr. Demmings joined Assurant in 1997. Initially, he joined the company in a Business Development capacity working from both Canada and the United States to develop new business opportunities within the retail division, focusing on both credit protection and extended service programs.
After five years in Business Development, Mr. Demmings moved into the position of Vice President and Business Owner for the Canadian warranty business unit. In 2005, he was promoted to President of the Canadian business unit. In 2009, his role was expanded to Regional President as he added responsibility for the Canadian preneed business. In 2010, Mr. Demmings was asked to add China to his regional mandate.
Mr. Demmings resides with his family in Atlanta, Georgia.
