Keith J. Masback is Principal Consultant at Plum Run LLC, providing strategic advisory services to startups working in geospatial intelligence and related fields. He is a prolific angel investor in early stage companies in the sector, where he also serves as a board member and advisor. Immediately prior, for over a decade, he served as CEO of the
United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation. Before USGIF, he spent over 20 years as an officer in the U.S. Army and as a government civilian, culminating as a senior executive at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. He holds a BA in Political Science from Gettysburg College. He is a past Chair of the National Geospatial Advisory Committee, a member of the Geographical and Geospatial Sciences Committee of the National Academies, a member of the Landsat Advisory Group, a former member of the Advisory Committee on Commercial Remote Sensing, a Counselor and Fellow of the American Geographical Society, and a member of the Advisory Board of the International Spy Museum.
