Kevin Eggan is a professor in the department of Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology at Harvard and Director of the Stem Cell program at the Broad Institute’s Stanley Center. He garnered international recognition for his seminal work in stem cell biology, receiving the MacArthur Foundation “Genius Grant” in 2006 and being selected as a Howard Hughes
Medical Institute Early Career Scientist. His current research focuses on using stem cell technologies to better understand nervous system disorders such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and schizophrenia, with the aim of developing new therapeutics. Kevin received a B.S. from the University of Illinois and a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
