With more than a decade of database, software engineering, and management experience, Kevin Liao manages the overall infrastructure, server, and database components for the company. He joined Live365 as the senior database engineer tasked with building the data warehouse system and designing the database system of Live365. Over the years with the
company, he has also worked on various back-end application servers of the Live365 system.
Prior to joining Live365, Kevin worked as System Engineer at the Computing Center of National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan and the Institute of Building and Planning at National Taiwan University. Kevin received a B.S. in Computer Science from the National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan and a M.S. in Computer Science from University of Massachusetts Boston. He was also in the Ph.D program in Computer Science at the University of Southern California with Dr. Dennis McLeod, a pioneer in objected oriented and federated database systems. He listens to new age, easy listening, and classical stations.
