Mr. Besier has been the CEO of RES Software since 2010 and has served on its board since 2009.
Mr. Besier is responsible for leading RES Software’s global business expansion and corporate growth strategies. He brings deep executive experience in the technology industry and a proven track record of driving top line growth.
Mr. Besier was
President and CEO of global software leader SAP America, Inc., and is credited with driving its growth in North and South America, Australia and New Zealand from $50 million to $1 billion in revenues in less than five years. He also served as President and CEO of Firepond, Inc., which he took public in one of the most successful IPOs of 2000. Additionally, as President and CEO of Neoware, Inc., Mr. Besier drove significant changes in the company's go-to-market and partner strategies.
Most recently, Mr. Besier served as CEO of Pramata, Inc., where he helped refine and implement a go-to-market strategy that has helped drive continued growth among Fortune 500 customers. He has also served on the board of many public and private companies, including Procurian, Inc. (formerly ICG Commerce), the procurement outsourcing specialist.
Mr. Besier holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Finance from the University of Economics in Berlin.
