Kohei Takashima is the founder, President and CEO of Oisix.Born in Kanagawa prefecture in 1973. After graduating from the Department of Information Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo, after working at McKinsey Japan Branch, in June 2000, he established Oisix Co., Ltd. with the corporate philosophy of
"realizing a rich eating habit at home". Became president of the company. Listed on TSE Mothers in March 2013. In May 2016, the mobile supermarket "Tokushimaru" for elderly and other shopping refugees became a subsidiary. In October 2017, he merged with the "Earth Protection Association," a pioneer in the sale of organic and pesticide-free vegetables, and became president of the new company. In October 2018, he merged with Radishbo-ya Co., Ltd., and in April 2020, changed the market to the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Aim to further expand the market for the food delivery business.
In 2007, he was selected as the Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum. In the same year, he became a director of the NPO "TABLE FOR TWO International" and actively participated in activities related to food issues around the world. After the Great Earthquake in March 2011, he energetically carried out reconstruction support activities as the founder of the general incorporated association "East Food Association". In 2016, he was appointed as a vice director of the NPO "Echigo-Tsumari Satoyama Collaboration Organization", which aims to make Echigo-Tsumari an attractive area, and is expanding the field of activities.
Since 2017, he has been appointed chairman of the Japan Association of Corporate Executives Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic 2020 Committee, and is working to support a wide range of sports from the business community centered on the Paralympics. Since July 2018, he has been appointed as the chairman of the Japan Wheelchair Rugby Federation, engaged in raising awareness of the competition and managing the organization, aiming for a further leap toward winning the gold medal at the Tokyo Paralympics.
