Lane has spent over 8 years building software at some of the world’s leading technology companies. Prior to co-founding Spice AI, Lane led high performance engineering teams at Indeed. At Microsoft, he worked on core big data components of Azure Monitor and developer productivity features for
Visual Studio.
Lane served multiple combat tours as a member of the United States Army Special Forces. As a Green Beret, Lane practiced teamwork and leadership working with a wide variety of indigenous military personnel, foreign government officials, and intelligence professionals to accomplish his team’s missions.
Lane holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Systems from the University of Washington.
