Larry Mercado is the founder and CEO of DEI.Fund, a venture capital fund of funds focused on delivering capital to historically underserved markets and communities. Larry is also the owner of Bold Biologix, LLC. a sports and cosmetics CBD brand. He has served on numerous non-profit boards and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the
Coastal Community Foundation and chairs their Investment Committee and Place Based Impact Investment Committee managing over $400M in assets. In 2009, the South Carolina Hispanic Chamber of Commerce recognized Larry as their Businessman of the Year and in 2013, Governor Nikki Haley appointed him an Ambassador for Economic Development in South Carolina. Larry holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia, an M.S. in Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutics from the University of Maryland Baltimore and completed the Stanford Executive Program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
