Lee Martin serves as senior vice president of sales, overseeing all aspects of the company's sales operations in Europe. Martin is responsible for developing and implementing relevant sales strategies across our agency, corporate and media customer segments in the region. Martin has more than 25 years of industry experience, with a
particularly strong background in the media and sports sectors. He was an integral part of the management team that successfully grew Getty Images' editorial business both organically and via acquisition over the past ten years.
Prior to joining Getty Images, Martin began his career with Allsport, the world's largest sports photo agency. He joined Getty Images as the joint managing director of Allsport, when it was acquired by Getty Images in 1998. In addition, Martin is a committee member on a number of organizations including The International Association of Athletics Federations, the British Association of Picture Libraries & Agencies and the Football Association Premier League photographic working party.
He has also served as a judge for many prestigious photographic around the world, including the Association of Photographers Awards, the Press Photographer's Year Awards, and the International Olympic Committee Sport and Photography Contest. While at Getty Images, Martin previously served as vice president of sales, UK and Ireland, before being promoted to VP sales for Europe.
