Liefeng has 19 years of extensive experience in the origination and syndication of equity capital markets transactions. He initiated more than 60 projects in the fields of TMT, software, semi-conductor, healthcare, et cetera, covering the IPO, M&A and exit of several enterprises.
Liefeng founded New Alliance Capital in 2008 and involved in
all phases of firm’s development. He led a number of landmark deals, including Microsoft New Alliance JV, Yicai Global, SMG Pictures (600637.SH), New Classics Media, Qihu 360, CHICMAX, KJT.com, UnionTech (836987.OC), Jushri Technologies, CAIP (603035.SH), Synfuels China, MicroPort, United Imaging, and other companies.
Leifeng is a current board member of Microsoft New Alliance JV, CAIP (603035.SH), Besttone (600640.SH) and MicroPort. He was a previous board member of more than 20 enterprises, including Nokia Networks, Shanghai Information Investment, Suzhou New Sea Union Telecom Technology Co (002089.SZ), Yicai Global, Wicresoft, Zizhu Park, and other companies.
Liefeng performed as Director of Investment Department at Shanghai Alliance Investment Ltd. (SAIL) from 1998 to 2008, where Dr. Qu successfully completed the execution of SAIL’s investments in China Netcom, BestTV (600637.SH) and so forth before he founded New Alliance Capital. He established 10 joint ventures together with MNCs such as Nokia, Microsoft, Samsung, Continental Group, PCCW, Texas Instruments, Cisco, and other companies.
Liegeng earned his Ph.D. of Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Master of Engineering from China Shipping Research Institute, and Bachelor of Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
