Lisa M. Larkin, Ph.D., is a University of Michigan Associate Professor of Molecular and Integrative Physiology. She is a co-director of the Skeletal Tissue Engineering Laboratory and has a joint appointment in the Biomedical Engineering Department. Dr. Larkin has over 25 years of experience in musculoskeletal physiology, with a focus on ligament,
tendon, muscle, and bone tissue engineering. Dr. Larkin's laboratory pioneered methods for co-culture scaffold-free tissue constructs to engineer functional tissues and their interfaces, and she holds numerous US and international patents for her inventions.
