With more than 30 years of experience in the field of medical device research and development, manufacturing, supply chain management, quality, regulatory and IT, Mr. Malice is currently an active consultant in the Atlanta medical device community, focusing primarily on helping start-up and early stage companies with their funding, product
strategy, and operational scale.
Mr. Malice most recently served as COO of EndoChoice, Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of products serving gastro-intestinal professionals. He joined the team at its inception in 2008 as an original member of management. As COO, Mr. Malice helped guide the company’s growth from 7 to over 400 employees. EndoChoice was recognized by INC magazine as one of the fastest growing medtech companies for four consecutive years. Mr. Malice retired from EndoChoice in 2014.
From 2003 to 2007, Mr. Malice was Co-CEO of American Breast Care (ABC), LP, a successful startup manufacturing and distributing products for women, post-breast surgery.
Prior to ABC, Mr. Malice worked at Coloplast Corporation, a subsidiary of Coloplast AS (Denmark), a $1 billion manufacturer of ostomy, continence, wound care, skin care and breast care products. He held positions of Executive Vice President Operations and Division President during his tenure from 1993 to 2002.
Prior to 1993, he held positions of increasing responsibility in Engineering, Manufacturing, Development, Logistics and Senior Management.
A native to Atlanta, Mr. Malice has a B.S. in Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He also holds four US Patents.
