Maged Ghoneima obtained his BSc and MSc from the Electronics & Communication Department at Ain Shams University in 1997 and 2000, respectively. He then obtained his PhD in Computer Engineering from Northwestern university in 2006. He joined Intel Research Labs from 2003-2006 and then moved to NVIDIA as a Senior Circuit Designer. He has more
than 50 reviewed publications in top journals and conferences.
Maged has also co-founded three startups in the fields of Electronics, Systems and Software. He currently leads the Mechatronics Engineering department at Ain Shams University, while also managing the ASU Innovation Hub (iHub) that he started in 2014.
