Magnus has over 15 years experience developing high availability infrastructure software deployed with carriers around the globe. His telco work allowed him to delve deeply into the realms of telematics, where he was the lead developer behind the server side of Volvo's On Call E911 telematics system in the US, and numerous other projects. He
has also worked directly with in-vehicle electronics through the Magden Performance computer that interfaces with the diagnostic port (OBD-II) in order to retrieve, display and log real-time vehicle data.
At Telecommunication Systems he headed the infrastructure team to create a High Availability transactional framework that is the baseplate of Verizon's VzNavigator service. His last major project was to, as a freelancer, design and develop the telematics software and protocols for the Getaround Peer-to-Peer car sharing business that won the TechCrunch award 2011. On his spare time he builds and race track vehicles.
