Since moving to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2000, Manuel has been assessing emerging technology trends, identifying market opportunities, developing software applications and bringing innovative products to market. He’s held senior product and business development roles in the areas of computer vision and artificial intelligence at Intel (Nasdaq:
INTC) and at Veritone (Nasdaq: VERI). Manuel complements his hands-on tech experience with a strategy and capital markets background. He was an Investment Director at Intel Capital and a Sr. Manager at Andersen Corporate Finance, LLC. Manuel holds an Executive Certificate on Business Strategy and AI from MIT, an MBA from UCLA and a BS in I&S Engineering from USC. He was born and raised in Mexico City and for decades has been aware of the growing public safety issues affecting Mexico. Manuel co-founded MaiVERIC with a strong commitment to leverage his background to contribute to the reinstatement of peace and people’s wellbeing throughout Latin America.
