A co-founder of QuanTemplate, Marek has a rare and sincere passion for high-performance databases. He has applied his advanced computational skills far and wide. At Oxford University, he specialised in artificial intelligence and aeronautics.
His career has since taken in a spell in the oil industry, where he created real-time monitoring systems
for drilling rigs, and four years at a leading hedge fund, where he fine-tuned the trading system for high-frequency statistical arbitrage. At QuanTemplate, Marek takes charge of server and mathematical operations. When he is not immersed in data, he likes to take in the Nottinghamshire air with his two children.
