Mark is CEO and cofounder of Musing AI, a socially aware and emotionally intelligent assistant. Previously, he was the recent CEO of Bloomfield (acquired by Kubota Corporation), which uses AI to help specialty crop growers improve yields across the US, EU, Africa, and South America. Previously, he was cofounder and CEO of RoadBotics (acquired by
Michelin), using AI to assess roadway infrastructure across seven countries. Earlier he was a cofounder of kWantix Trading LLC (acquired by Moody Aldrich Partners), a quant energy hedge fund, and cofounder and CEO of kWantera, an energy trading company, both of which use deep learning technology. Earlier in his career, Mark was the director of government relations for Texas Instruments and held policy positions in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy in the administration of George H. W. Bush. He is also an adjunct professor of entrepreneurship at Carnegie Mellon University and holds an MS in technology management from the American University, a PhD in public policy from the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University, and a doctorate in business administration from the Fox School of Business at Temple University. Mark also completed the AI Academy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the venture capital session at Wharton.
