Inc., a company engaged in the development, manufacture and sale of land mobile radio (LMR) networking technology used in public safety and in critical infrastructure. SmartLink has installed more than 90 systems throughout the world. SmartLink was acquired in April 2007.
Additionally, he was a founder and is a Board Member of both Travel Sciences, Inc., a software application developer for the travel industry and IM Interactive Corp., a technology company that specializes in commercial instant messaging.
Mark Hatten was the Chairman/CEO of KSI Inc., an E-911 location company. KSI was awarded several patents for the angle of arrival method of location by triangulation of cellular telephones. In 2000, KSI was sold to TruePosition, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Liberty Media.
Prior to KSI, Mark Hatten founded Connecticut Telephone & Communications Systems, Inc. and was its Chairman and CEO until the company was acquired in 1998.
