Mr. Mickelson is the Managing Partner of the firm. He has been investing in small to medium sized businesses since the early 1990s. He has been a partner in four previous private funds totaling approximately $800 million. He has managed capital for some of the largest pensions and endowments in the world and has also done deals with high net worth
individuals and other private equity firms.
He has been on the operating committee or board of directors of numerous small to medium sized businesses and, as a result, has been active in strategic planning, senior executive compensation, mergers, acquisitions, audit committee, senior debt financings and mezzanine debt financings. He has also been instrumental in achieving shareholder liquidity in most of these companies through sales to other private equity firms, leveraged recapitalizations, sales to strategic buyers and public offerings.
Mr. Mickelson graduated from the Anderson School at UCLA where he received an MBA with a concentration in finance. His undergraduate degrees are from the University of Redlands where he received a double major in Business and Economics.
