Mark serves as Parchment’s Chief Security and Privacy Officer. In his role as an entrepreneurial executive, he also acts as a pivotal resource in managing and executing a series of corporate initiatives related to the exchange of data. As co-founder of Parchment, originally known as Docufide, Mark served in a variety of roles over the company’s
history with a focus on Product Development. Mark also acts as Parchment’s representative to PESC (The P20W Education Standards Council) and serves on its Board of Directors.
Prior to co-founding Parchment, Mark was Senior Director of Consumer Products at Homestore.com, where his responsibilities included the areas of product development, product design, production and the implementation of strategic relationships. He helped lead the team that built the Homestore.com web site to its position as the number one home and real estate destination and among the top 25 most visited web sites at the time.
Before joining Homestore, Mark spent 10 years in the entertainment industry where he founded and ran a nationally distributed record company, produced feature films and consulted to film studios and production companies. Mark attended Berklee College of Music and the University of Massachusetts and has a BS in Business Administration from Charter Oak State College.
