Mark Poole is Senior Executive Vice President for First National Bank of Broken Arrow. Prior to working for First National Bank Mark was the Chief Lending Officer, Board Member, and Shareholder at Summit Bank in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mark was Responsible for all lending functions, sales & marketing activities, and member of Executive Management Team
and Regulatory Board Member. Prior to working for Summit Bank, Mark was President & Chief Lending Officer for First Fidelity Bank, in Tulsa. Here he was responsible for all commercial lending in Tulsa & OKC. Mark is also a member of the Executive Management Team. He opened the Tulsa Office in July 2001 as a start-up and grew operations to a $55MM office by 6/2004. Mr. Payne co-founded Heritage Trust in 1997 and served as Compliance Officer and Asset Manager until 2004, when he was named Chairman of the Board.
Mark was named Junior College All-American in Baseball 1979, NCAA All-American in baseball 1981, Oklahoma State University Baseball Team 1980 and 1981, All Big-Eight Catcher 1981, 9th round selection by the Toronto Blue Jays in 1981 Amateur Baseball Draft, Minor League Silver Glove Award Winner 1984; Security Pacific Bank Presidents Award for Volunteerism 1990; Honors Graduate 1993 OBA Commercial Lending School.
Mark is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma Class XIV, Leadership Oklahoma Board of Directors and Executive Committee, Palmer Drug Abuse Program Director and Past President, Trustee of Sand Springs Education Foundation, Trustee and current President of Foundation for Tulsa Schools, Tulsa Area United Way Allocations Committee, Board of Trustees for Tulsa Country Club, Board of Trustees of Summit Club, Board of Trustees and Treasurer, Oklahoma Center for Non-Profits. He holds various committee roles with local non-profit organizations.
In July 1987, Mark graduated from Oklahoma State University, with a BS in Business Administration. In May of 1995, Mark Graduated with Highest Honors from Oklahoma City University, with his Masters in Business Administration.
Mark is a Board Member of Oklahoma Bankers Associations’ Senior Management Committee, Basic Banking School, and Commercial Lending School. He is a course instructor for various Oklahoma Bankers Association training classes, Adjunct Professor at Oklahoma State University – Tulsa.
