Matanya Horowitz is the founder of AMP Robotics, a robotics company with the mission of making recycling efficient and profitable.
Matanya started the company shortly after finishing his PhD at the California Institute of Technology where he studied robotic path planning, artificial intelligence, and computer vision.
Matanya is
distinguished by having earned four undergraduate degrees and a masters in his four years of study at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He is passionate about the questions of automation, in both the mathematics underlying the problems central to robotics as well as their wider implications for society.
