Matt is currently toSense's™ CTO. Prior to this venture, Matt founded three successful companies, all in different industries. His first company, Active Impulse Systems, developed the first-ever optical measurement of metal films for the semiconductor industry, and was purchased by Philips Electronics. After that, Matt founded Networkcar, a
leader in automotive telematics that was ultimately purchased by Verizon Wireless. And after that, he founded Sotera Wireless, a San Diego-based medtech company that currently markets the first-ever body-worn monitor that measures all vital signs and patient activity. Matt received his Ph.D. from MIT and is a U.S. Patent Agent. He is the named inventor on over 250 pending and issued patent applications.
