Matt combines his mastery of both pharmacy and software development to lead iMedicare’s internal operations. He holds a Pharmacy Doctorate from Wingate University and is an active member of several pharmacy organizations, including the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA).
While mainly a self-taught software developer, Matt has
spent over a decade advancing and refining his programming skills even during his pharmacy education. Before the creation of iMedicare, Matt had worked with Flaviu on a regular basis to organize software development workshops in the greater Charlotte area of NC. Such events included developing tools that empower various industries to track legislative data in real time.
With over 8 years of hospital and community pharmacy exposure, Matt has viewed the world of pharmacy through lens of a software developer. He has witnessed a myriad of opportunities to solve workplace frustrations that are rarely prioritized by software developers. Because of these experiences, his career mission targets one objective: to add extraordinary value to the profession of pharmacy by applying innovations with information technology.
