He has developed detailed models to analyze traffic control and intelligent transportation systems. Matthew has developed, validated, and applied long-range travel demand models as well as
building hybrid models linking traffic microsimulations with travel demand models.
He has worked to accurately model the transportation systems in cities as diverse as Melbourne Australia, Edinburgh Scotland, Los Angeles California, Beijing China, Bangkok Thailand, and Fargo, North Dakota.
Matthew is a graduate of North Dakota State University with a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
