Mavis Agbandje-McKenna, PhD is the Director of the Center of Structural Biology and Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Florida. Professor Agbandje-McKenna’s lab uses a multi-disciplinary approach to examine events that occur during viral infection and is an established expert in the structure of adeno-associated
virus capsids. She is a member of the scientific advisory boards at Voyager Therapeutics and AGTC. Professor Agbandje-McKenna received her PhD in Biophysics from the University of London.
