Offering more than 30 years of experience in technology development and implementation in manufacturing, Max Sorenson specializes in initiating and implementing innovative thin film and coating technologies. With HZO since 2011, Mr. Sorenson serves as Chief Technical Officer and lends expertise in start-up growth and intellectual property
protection. Previously, he founded ECOSIL Technologies, Inc., and Aeromet Technologies, Inc., both coating technology licensing companies. In addition, he served in various capacities with Covol Technology, Inland Steel Co. and Geneva Steel. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in metallurgical engineering from the University of Utah and a Master of Science in industrial management from Purdue University.
