Dr. Maxim Mikheev has over 15 years of experience in molecular biology. He is a co-inventor of 4 patents in biology and biological computational simulation. Max supervised development of the open source, modular BioUML bioinformatics platform and enhancements to add NGS capabilities. He later managed the transition of BioUML from a purely academic
version to a commercial version from which BioDT was created. Max has extensive management and research environment experience combined with expert knowledge in the field of bioinformatics.
He holds a medical degree in clinical and laboratory diagnostics from Novosibirsk State Medical University (Russia), and a Ph.D. in molecular biology from State Research Center of Virology and Biotechnology "Vector" (Russia).
