Megan Partridge is the Founder & Creative Director of Deià and an award-winning social entrepreneur. At Deià, she works with skilled artisans in communities affected by war, poverty, and conflict to create luxury products with a social impact.
Prior to Deià, Megan was the Harry Ott Environmental Fellow at The Coca-Cola Company, focused on
new methods for unlocking wealth in off-grid rural markets while empowering local women retailers. She worked with Ashoka’s venture team investing in high-impact entrepreneurs in the Indian sub-continent and was a founding Director of The Sustainable Fashion Initiative, advancing research to improve the global apparel industry’s social and environmental footprint.
At the age of 17, she launched a low-cost ceramic water purification technology in Africa, coordinating supply chain operations across Kenya, Nigeria, and Burkina Faso and spearheading a grassroots marketing strategy that effectively positioned the technology as a prized possession for the home. The experience shaped her early fascination with entrepreneurship in emerging economies and sparked her passion for the power of design to transform lives.
Megan has been recognized as one of ten worldwide recipients of the United Nations Achievers Award for her work advancing sustainable design and development and was an inaugural Keller Center Fellow in Innovation, Design and Entrepreneurship at Princeton University. She received a B.S.E. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Princeton and currently resides in New York City.
