The Co-founder and CEO of Delegate, Melissa is an entrepreneur who has successfully built a startup that is growing quickly in Southeast Asia.
Melissa, and her co-founder Jacqueline Ye, started Delegate in 2015 after finding market inefficiencies with the development and planning of events. The duo built a free-to-use online platform that allows
people to browse event inspirations and book vendors instantly.
Melissa is a strong advocate for using technology to change the world. She is a member of "Women In Blockchain”, an independent initiative partnered with Consensys. As the Singapore chapter head, she takes an active role in growing and developing the Southeast Asian tech scene.
Prior to her foray into entrepreneurship, Melissa was a hospitality professional for almost a decade.
She graduated from Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne, one of the leading hospitality schools in the world, and served as a committee member for the Asia alumni network (2012 - 2016).
