Michael Dorr currently is a faculty member of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Technische Universität München, Germany. His research interests span visual computing, neuroscience, and clinical applications of computationally intensive algorithms and systems. Michael Dorr studied Computer Science with specializations in
Bioinformatics and Artificial Intelligence at the Universities of Edinburgh, UK, and Lübeck, Germany.
In 2010, he received his Doctorate in Engineering “summa cum laude” from the University of Lübeck, followed by a postdoctoral research position at the Schepens Eye Research Institute, Harvard Medical School. He joined Technische Universität München as a Junior Fellow in 2014.
