Michael heads the engineering group at Mind Pirate. Prior to joining Mind Pirate, he was Twyngo's CTO where he developed the popular Amazing Ants mobile game from high-level concept to production-quality release.
He created primary character, story, game concepts and he designed, implemented, and evolved game flow, user mechanics, game
elements, levels, hints, scoring, and badging systems based on pre-ARPU and ARPU user feedback.
Michael worked with artists and animators to develop the look-and-feel of the game, contributed significantly to monetization and user retention strategies, and was involved heavily in software design, implementation, and quality assurance.
Prior to Twyngo, Mike was the CTO at PGR where he led the development of an end-to-end industry research information system for the financial investment ecosystem. Michael also has technical and managerial expertise in the electronic design automation (EDA) industries, including working on Altera's next-generation complex programmable logic devices (CPLD), and at Synopsys where he provided critical optimization technologies and flows for its Physical Synthesis product suite.
Michael has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley, and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the domain of Artificial Intelligence information systems.
