Mr. Michael Jaharis, J.D. co-founded Arisaph Pharmaceuticals, Inc. 1999.
Mr. Jaharis is the Co-Founder of Kos Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and has been its Chairman Emeritus of the Board since January 1, 2002. Mr. Jaharis initially served as Chairman of Board of Directors through December 31, 2001. In these positions, Mr. Jaharis has been actively
involved in the development of business strategy and in critical implementation decisions.
He is the Founder of Vatera Healthcare Partners. He was the Founder of Key Pharmaceuticals, Inc. From 1972 until 1986, he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Key Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Mr. Jaharis developed and grew Key Pharmaceuticals from only a few non-distinguished pharmaceutical products into a producer of some of the best-selling asthma and cardiovascular products in the US at that time, which he turned around, revamped its product line and merged it with Schering-Plough in 1986.
After serving in the Korean War, Mr. Jaharis became a sales representative for Miles Laboratories. He has been a Director of Arisaph Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since 2005. He serves as a Director of Alexander S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation (USA). He serves as a Trustee at Tufts University.
He earned his J.D. from DePaul University and a B.A. from Carroll College.
