Michael is a software engineer and researcher who started coding at the age of 10 and grew up coding web applications for small businesses and boutiques. He conducted three years of translational research in immunology with impacts in rheumatoid arthritis and B cell lymphoma at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Clinic. At Dartmouth College, he was the
personal intern to former surgeon general, C. Everett Koop, and Dr. Joseph O'Donnell and studied biology with a specialty in immunology and socio-cultural anthropology as a pre-med student. He has worked as a software engineer and entrepreneur in recent years, working as a software lead for Silicon Valley and New York City startups, including Beepi and Learn With Homer.
