Mr. Moore brings a nationally recognized expertise on biosolids and leadership on “Sustainable Biosolids Management” to the Gate 5 as its environmental compliance advisor. Mike has over 40 years of experience in biosolids management and wastewater engineering and planning. He served as Orange County Sanitation District’s Biosolids Division Manager
for 15 years, during which he led the development of the Short Term and Long Term Biosolids Management Plans. Mike went on to be “National Biosolids Lead” at HDR and has served on numerous WEF, CASA, WERF, and NACWA technical advisory task forces and working groups related to Biosolids Management and Biosolids Management Practices.
Mike earned a degree in Marine biology from California State University, Long Beach.
