Mitchell Yoel joined Drive Medical in 2009, as EVP of Business Development. Included among his initial responsibilities were Category Management of the Pressure Prevention and Respiratory lines of business, sales force education, and development of customer value-added programs. In 2010, his role expanded to include management of the company's
government relations activities, including DME industry advocacy and lobbying.
Mitchell has experienced the DME industry from three perspectives: that of a clinician, provider, and manufacturer. Mitchell began his career as a Physical Therapist, serving patients for several years at one of New York City's largest acute care facilities, New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Mitchell transitioned to the DME provider market as a sales representative and spent the next nine years in sales, sales management and business development roles.
During that time, Mitchell was instrumental in building policies and procedures, operations, sales and new business lines specific to Respiratory and Wound Care markets for three large DME Providers.
Mitchell is a 1994 graduate of Tufts University, and holds a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Emory University.
