Neil A. Burns is a Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at P2 Science.
Neil is also a Founder and Managing Partner at Neil A. Burns LLC, investment and advisory firm.
Prior to forming Neil A Burns LLC, Neil Burns was the CEO of Oxiteno USA, the US subsidiary of the Brazilian company, Ultrapar (NYSE: UGP), a $20Bn chemicals, energy and
logistics company. Oxiteno manufactures surfactants and solvents for the detergent, cosmetics, agrochemical and paints and coatings markets.
Prior to that Neil was VP of Operations and the senior US executive for VVF Ltd, an Indian oleochemical and consumer products company. Neil is a chemicals executive with 20+ years experience in marketing, sales, corporate development, finance, supply chain, manufacturing and on boards.
Neil participated as an investor / manager in the leveraged buyout of the $100 Million specialty chemical company, Pilot Chemical, where he was VP of Marketing and a board director. Pilot is a manufacturer of anionic surfactants for use in the detergent, personal care, lubricant and polymers markets.
Originally from the UK, Neil has lived and worked in Europe. Neil has set up businesses for chemical companies in Europe, South America, Asia and India. Neil is currently developing investments in the chemical sector.
Neil sits on the Board of Directors of SiVance LLC a specialty silicones company and on the operating Advisory Boards of two private equity funds, GenNx360 Capital Partners and Linley Capital.
Neil has served as Chairman of a private school Board of Trustees and is currently a board member of the American Chemical Society’s, Marketing and Economics Division.
Neil's education includes a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of York, UK and an MBA with distinction from the Wharton School.
