Nicholas Burns has served as a director of the Company since May of 2011. He is currently a Professor of The Practice of Diplomacy and International Politics, Kennedy School, Harvard University. Ambassador Burns served in the United States Foreign Service for twenty-seven years until his retirement in April 2008. He served as Under Secretary of
State for Political Affairs from 2005 to 2008. From 2001 to 2005 he was U.S. Ambassador to NATO.
Prior to that from 1997 to 2001 he was U.S. Ambassador to Greece. He is Director of the Aspen Strategy Group, Senior Counselor at the Cohen Group and serves on the Advisory Board for Veracity Worldwide. He is on the Board of Directors of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, The Atlantic Council and a number of other non-profit organizations.
