Nick VanDillen is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of LYGENT. Mr. VanDillen has extensive experience in medical device design and development, where he has lead technical teams in the successful development of medical devices for both large healthcare providers and private firms. Among his past projects are the development of a cardiac
catheter for Cincinnatti Children's Hospital and the development of an ankle-foot orthotic brace for national prosthetic firm Hanger, Inc. In addition to medical device development, Mr. VanDillen has experience in business development and commercialization in the healthcare space. Most recently, he worked with healthcare start-up Sovelis, LLC to help write their business plan and develop an early-stage business strategy. Mr VanDillen has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton and is pursuing an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering and Translational Health Technology from Case Western Reserve University.
